RUBIS Sponsors International Coastal Clean-Up Day, Partners with Dolphin Encounters for Success

Nassau, Bahamas – [21 September 2024] – RUBiS proudly sponsored this year's International Coastal Clean-Up Day, joining forces with Dolphin Encounters and numerous notable organizations to make the event a resounding success. The clean-up, held at South Beach, brought together over 450 volunteers to combat the growing issue of beach pollution.

Seven dedicated members of the RUBIS team, representing the Aviation, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources departments, participated in the effort, showing their commitment to preserving the local environment. Despite being surprised by the sheer volume of trash found along the shoreline, the collective efforts of the volunteers ensured that the cleanup was completed by 9:30 AM.

“We were amazed by the turnout and the dedication of everyone involved,” said Rochelle Miller, Human Resource Manager at RUBIS. “Seeing the community come together for such an important cause was inspiring. We're proud to support initiatives that promote environmental sustainability.”

As a token of appreciation for their hard work, RUBIS provided gas gift cards to the volunteers who helped restore the beauty of South Beach.
