RUBiS Goes BLUE for Autism Awareness Month

April 2023 is no exception, Rubis Bahamas Limited continues to support Resources and Education for Autism Related Challenges (R.E.A.C.H) to bring awareness to a growing area that continues to affect boys and girls. It is estimated that Autism affects 1 in 100 children according to The World Health Organization.

Rubis Bahamas has stood behind this cause for years and actively looks to find new ways to bring about more awareness. This year, Rubis introduced lawn signs with autistic messages such as, “Love needs no words” and “Autism awareness month” at the front of its head office to garner the attention of the motoring public. Instead of traditional Autism awareness group photos, Rubis encouraged individual department creativity by having departments pose in their Autism shirts.

For the second year, Rubis lit its head office blue in the night to captivate and bring curiosity to neighbors and nighttime drivers.

Rubis committed $9,000 to R.E.A.C.H and once again came onboard as a title sponsor for their annual fun run/ walk where 14 of Rubis employees and family members participated.
