Ten years in the Bahamas already! It was hard to believe for the entire country!

To commemorate the event, RUBiS held a prestigious cocktail event at the country’s new Baha Mar Hotels & Resorts for retailers, C&I customers, partners, and potential clients. Over 100 guests enjoyed a magical evening with dinner and live entertainment.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Mrs. Micah Knowles, opened the evening with a warm and exciting welcome summarizing many of our achievements over the past 10 years including our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives engaged in over the years. She acknowledged the commitment of each retailer, vendor, network partners and employee that helped to make Rubis the Fuel Brand of Choice in the Bahamas.

RUBiS Caribbean CEO, Mauricio Nicholls was the keynote speaker and addressed the guests reflecting on the past 10 years’ Investment Commitments and those that are currently being executed.

Managing Director, Raymond Samuels introduced the Bahamas’ 10th Year Anniversary Video that was aired for the first time. The video showcased all aspects of the RUBiS business segments. The employees and customers who participate in this momentous production were quite elated. As quoted by Raymond Samuels, “This is a magnificent milestone for RUBiS, a brand that was once unknown to The Bahamas is now one of the leading service stations and fuel brand only 10 years later”.

Rubis Bahamas also took the opportunity to announce the launch of its electronic gift card , a much-welcomed value added product that will be available for purchase at all Rubis service stations.

The event ended with a cultural Junkanoo Rush-out in which guests danced away the evening and took home a Rubis token consisting of a commemorative 10-year anniversary glass, RUBiS new electronic Gift Card and other branded treats.
